RageMode – Ashes (I Fall)

About “Ashes”

Ashes is a song about struggle, loss, and finding the strength to rise again. The idea came from one of my favorite moments in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The final fight where everything is falling apart and there is no way back. That scene has so much emotion and I wanted to capture that feeling in music.

For this track, I teamed up with Fraen, an incredible singer and songwriter from Berlin. I came up with the phrase “Fall or I fall” and she helped turn my vision into lyrics. Her voice adds so much emotion and makes the journey feel even more real. The orchestral sounds, heavy drops and intense energy are all there to pull you into the moment. The chaos, the pain, but also the hope of breaking free.

This song means a lot to me and I hope it hits you the same way.

RageMode – Run

About “Run”

“Run” is my dive into the heavier, raw side of drum and bass – a side I don’t usually explore. I oveall feel way comfortable creating melodic tracks, but with this one, I wanted to push myself and see what it’s like to craft something purely for the dancefloor. Featuring the intense vocals of PVC, this track is fast, heavy, and full of energy. It’s all about capturing that moment on the dancefloor when the bass takes over, and the crowd moves as one. Creating “Run” was an exciting challenge, and I hope it gets your head racing as much as it did mine while making it!

RageMode – Save Me

About “Save Me”

“Save Me” is probably one of the most personal tracks I’ve ever made. It started two years ago when I first met my girlfriend. We got together to make music, and in that first session, something just clicked. We connected on such a deep level, and together, we wrote the first draft of this song. Her voice became the heart of it, giving life to emotions I didn’t even know how to put into words.

This song is about the constant battle within yourself – the struggle to keep everyone else happy while dealing with the pressure you create in your own mind. It’s about that feeling of being your own worst enemy and realizing that the only person who can save you is yourself.

Musically, “Save Me” reflects that tension. With just one drop (kinda), the track feels like it’s always building, always pushing forward, mirroring the pressure and eventual release of those emotions. It’s been a wild ride to create, and it means so much to me.

RageMode – Resurrection

About “Resurrection”

“Resurrection” was like my real introduction to the drum and bass scene. It was created for the 2023 edition of Let It Roll’s opening show, and working on it felt like stepping into a whole new world. I had the chance to collaborate with the festival team, Camo & Krooked, and Mefjus, which was both incredibly inspiring and a little nerve-wracking. Let It Roll is such a massive event, and knowing how many artists tune in to watch the opening show added a lot of pressure to make it perfect.

The theme they gave us—dark and mystical — felt like it was made for me. The concept came together pretty quickly because it matched my style so well, but finishing the track was where the real journey began. I wanted every part of it to feel massive, so I started with a dramatic orchestral intro to create something cinematic and atmospheric. From there, the track builds into a huge, heavy drop with those signature bass stabs that I knew would hit hard on the festival stage.

For me, “Resurrection” had to feel loud, epic, and unforgettable. Hearing it blast across the festival grounds during the opening show was surreal—it gave me chills. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and I’m so proud of what we created together.

C&K – No Way Out (RageMode Remix)

About “No Way Out – The Remix”

This remix feels like the beginning of a whole new chapter for me. After my internship with Mefjus, I knew I wanted to fully dive into drum and bass, and getting the chance to remix two legends like Camo & Krooked was an unreal opportunity. It was my first drum and bass release, my introduction to the Modus family, and my debut on UKF — all of which made it a moment I’ll always remember.

I wanted the track to have its own personality while respecting the original, so I started with a bold brass horn intro to set a fresh tone. I experimented with a lot of ideas, and when it felt like it needed something extra, I added a boom bap – inspired hip – hop outro. That outro has become a special part of my sets, and it still feels amazing to play it.

This remix isn’t just a track for me — it’s a snapshot of where my journey started in drum and bass, and I’m incredibly proud of what it represents.
